Many people have a great desire to work from the comfort of their home rather than working at a traditional job. Why would so many want to work from home all of a sudden? Well I think people have always preferred to work from home, but never really thought they had the cash, skill sets or capabilities in general to do so. Only large corporations with huge amounts of money to spend could afford to own a Home Based Business right? Wrong!

The growth and popularity of the Internet has leveled the playing field. Now everyone has essentially the same opportunities as the big companies. It’s truly amazing. I suggest either using a website like mine, but not necessarily mine, that has done some research or be prepared to spend the days researching the programs yourself.

It’s important to find work at home opportunities that match your work at home profile. You may be asking what is a work at home profile? This is something that I have discovered over the past year or so. I find that it is very important to find programs that match your time constraints, skill sets, comfort level and income objectives.

You may be thinking that you do not have the skill sets to do the task required for entering simple data from home. The good news is that you can find companies that will give you the necessary training so that you will have the tools necessary to perform the task required.

In most cases all you really need, equipment wise is a computer, access to the Internet and some free time.

What should you do next? Take your time, research the programs, get the necessary training, join the programs and get started working from home. I believe it is possible to change your lifestyle utilizing the access afforded us by the Internet.

Why not give your self a chance? Rather than going out to dinner and a movie one evening, join 2 – 3 good programs and take a chance on improving life for both you and your family. Many people will take this path later on focusing on the programs they enjoy the mosts. Many people are looking to the Internet to work from home earning money. Many will succeed, while others barely make it or fail. Why is it that some are successful and others are not? Well I think at least part of the problem is that many people will try and find the easiest program that pays the most amount of money and simply join. This is setting yourself up for failure.

It is very important that you match up your skill sets, financial goals and comfort level with the program or programs that you decide to join. Some may not have the necessary skill sets to be successful. It depends on what type of work at home opportunity you choose. Most or you, who are reading this article, can operate a computer and have the desire to work at home, have all the tools necessary to do the job. Some just need the reassurance of training.

I decided to research the Internet with an eye toward specialized training for a wide variety of work at home programs. I was pleased to see that there are companies that do offer just what many or looking for.

An example of what I found is as follows:

You sign up and begin your training on day 1. In 3-5 business days they send you a CD by mail. Upon receipt of the cd simply install the program into your computer. The remainder of the training, software, manuals and job database, which is updated daily, are included in the program you installed.

When you go to the software section there was tons of jobs listed alphabetically. You can read through the success stories by users on the site. One person said, in so many words, that: “You go to the “job” area first. Pick a job you like, download the training and software. Then once you complete the training you do the job.” Now that’s what we are looking for!

I like this idea, and it would help many people. This gives people the training or reinforces what they already know. Sometimes it’s just a vehicle to get someone over the fear factor. In my opinion almost anyone can do what is required with these work at home programs.

What I really liked in many of the training oriented programs I found where that they offered a variety of work at home jobs, but they did not stop there. They had the total package. Think about it! They find the opportunity, train you for it and then once you complete their training, you simply start earning cash. One stop shopping, what a novel idea.

Several things to consider are as follows:

1. Either do the research your self or use a site that has done some research.

2. Remember you will have to do some work from home. Nothing is free.

3. Put forth the time and effort to be successful.

I’m sure you’re aware that 95% of the people who start in this industry fail and are forced to return to that dreaded J-O-B within 6 months because there is no real money coming in. The Top 4 Ways to Build Your Personal Training Business and Which One is Best!

Everyone wants to grow their business. It doesn’t matter who you are, or what business you are in. Unless you are not interested in money or career security, you want your business to grow.

Do you feel like you want to grow your personal training business, but you’re not sure how to do it? Are you ready to take your business to the next level, but you don’t know how? Then this article is for you!

Let’s start by defining the 4 ways that anyone can grow a business, and then we will examine which one has the most growth potential:

1) Get more customers – Do you just want more customers who use your service, buy your products, or both? How many customers can you fit into your day, or provide products for? How many customers do you have the time and the resources to support?

2) Sell more products or services to your present customers – This is a great idea, since your present customers already trust you. However, it is limited because each customer will only spend a certain amount of money, or they will only need a certain number of products. Once their needs have been filled, or they can no longer afford what you offer, then you will no longer be able to sell products and services to those clients.

3) Raise the prices that you charge for your product or services – In most cases, this has got Bad Idea written all over it. Although there are times when raising your prices or your rates is a good business move, just arbitrarily saying that you will simply charge more in order to make more money spells doom for your business in the long run.

4) Find a way to duplicate your efforts by having people who work under you distribute your products or services. There are few drawbacks to this method, and it is in fact the recommended method for business growth in today’s economy.

Check out the breakdown below of why methods 1 through 3 are limited at best, and how option 4 – duplicating your efforts – is the only surefire way to grow your business permanently and exponentially.

1. Getting more customers is always a good idea for any business, provided the infrastructure is in place to handle the needs of the increased customer base. However there are 2 major problems with this method:

a) Acquiring new customers is expensive and time-consuming. Most people are aware that the cost to keep a present customer is significantly less than the cost of acquiring a new one. The time and/or finances needed to continually bring in new clients will eventually run out.

b) If you are a small business owner, handling an excessive number of clients or customers can become almost impossible, especially if you are in a service-based industry such as personal training. Even if you hire staff to help with the extra client load, bringing new employees into your organization brings with it another set of headaches that may very well not be worth the effort. If you decide to handle all client service and support yourself, you will quickly find yourself with no life whatsoever, even though you are building and working your business from sun up to sun down day after day.

2. Selling more products or services to your present customers is a great idea, but that idea also has a limited lifespan. Eventually your customers will either no longer need your services (a personal trainer never keeps a client forever), they will run out money to pay for your products or services, or they will get enough products to last them for the foreseeable future, and they will stop buying. All of these scenarios end the same way: You no longer receive any additional revenue from selling more products or services to that customer.

3. Raising the prices of your product or service may be a smart business/marketing idea in certain circumstances. However, even when that is the case, there is still a set amount of money that your customers will be willing to pay for your products or services.

If you are a personal trainer who trains 8 sessions a day for $50.00 per session, you make $400.00 per day. Not bad! In a 5-day work week, you will make $2,000.000. What would happen if you became known as the best personal trainer in town, and jacked your rates up to $200.00 per training session? You are now making $1,600.00 a day, and bringing in $8,000.00 a week!

Well, first of all, the above scenario is unrealistic. Not many trainers make $200.00 per session. Of those that do, what about cancellations? What about when your clients get sick or go on vacation? What happens if you are the one who gets sick or goes on vacation? What if you get injured? What if you get too old or burnt out to keep up the pace of 40 intensity-packed personal training sessions week after week for years on end?

The fact that you raised your rates to the upper end of what a personal trainer can expect to make doesn’t protect you from the fact that there are still many, many obstacles that can and will block your income potential. Some of those obstacles are permanent in nature and out of your control!

4. Finding a way to duplicate your efforts by having people underneath you distribute your products or services is the only solution that is effective, will work indefinitely, and is not bound by your personal schedule or other physical limitations. You will receive a share of the money that is generated by those working under you, and you can eventually leave the game completely if you wish, allowing your business to run itself with minimal guidance and input from you. If you desire true financial and time freedom, duplicating your efforts is the only way it is ever going to happen.

So how do you duplicate your efforts? You find a product and/or service that can be distributed by others who work under you, while giving you a share of the profits that are generated by their efforts. The only business model that allows this scenario – without hiring employees – is Network Marketing.

Network marketing is an industry whose time has finally come. The business regulatory systems in the world have put rules and laws in place to prevent consumers from being taken advantage of by shady companies, false promises, and outright lies. The network marketing companies that remain solvent are profitable, ethical, and they allow you to grow your business exponentially through your own efforts, as well as the efforts of others.

Blaine561 presents: Network Marketing Training — Arm Your New Distributors for Success

Hamlet may not have been talking about network marketing, but his words do apply. Almost every network marketer has experienced the “slings and arrows” of the naysayers, those often well-meaning friends and relatives that stand in the way of our making an “outrageous fortune!” Experienced network marketers, clothed in the armor of past success, are less vulnerable to outside influences. The new distributor, however, is vulnerable, and that “sea of troubles” can act as a barrier to reaching their true potential.

What did the knights of old do to prevent an injury? That’s right – they armed themselves. Their armor was heavy and cumbersome, and they needed a squire to help them prepare for battle. Well, the same is true for your new distributors. While the armor they must use is less cumbersome than that of the knights, you must help them arm themselves for success. In other words, you must be their squire.

What do I mean by “arming for success?”

When a new distributor joins your network marketing organization, they are moving into an environment that demands strong armor. There are a lot of “slings and arrows” that can hurt their chances for success and create a sea of troubles — of doubt, disbelief, even failure.

As Rich Dad, Poor Dad author Robert T. Kiyosaki points out, most people in this world are afraid to experience success. They are held back by negative thinking, and consequently suffer the pain of mediocrity. Because they have not been armed for success, and are more focused on security and survival, they subject themselves to a life of servitude and poverty and being someone else’s employee.

Arm your new distributors from negative thinking and potential disaster. How? By understanding why so many people are negative about network marketing and the prospects of the success it can bring.

Let’s face it. There are a lot of people out there that do not want you to become successful. When you are successful, you point out the lack of success in their lives. When you take away any excuses they’ve been hanging onto and you force them to look at their lives as they really are, it makes them very uncomfortable. You’ve heard of the expression “Misery loves company.” Well, it’s true.

Doug Firebaugh, network marketing guru, calls it the “Unspoken Understanding,” which is simply the silent agreement that most people have with each other, namely “don’t mention my mediocre life, and I won’t mention yours.” Your success and the success of your new distributors, just points out the naysayers’ mediocrity.

Leaders help others. If you are going to be successful in network marketing, you must arm your new distributors against people who will try to convince them their business won’t work. Show your downline you want them to be successful. Encourage them. Show them how the most successful network marketers have achieved their success, and teach them to model those attitudes, habits, and actions. Remind your distributors that they are the CEO of their lives. Arm them with the power of positive thinking so they don’t let others live their lives for them with their negative attitudes.

To paraphrase Hamlet, by opposing negative thoughts, we end them.

Blaine561 presents: Training the New Network Marketing Distributor: Laying Down a Track To Run On – Step 1 of 3

Most people who get into a network marketing program want things to happen quickly. Initial presentations usually touch on the way money can be made, and the numbers often look staggering. What most of those initial presentations don’t explain is how difficult it is to get started and to acquire the skills needed for success in network marketing.

For many new distributors, this is their first venture into network marketing. They are unsure about how to begin and often are tentative in their initial approaches. That can be the “kiss of death” for a presentation. After all, who wants to go into business with someone who is not sure about what they are doing?

To be successful in network marketing, new distributors need to learn from someone who is already successful. When new distributors know how to proceed, they can build their downline with confidence. Only one person in a hundred is a “self-starter.” The other 99 will require that you invest time into their success, and show them how to begin.

There are three steps to building your downline:

1. Laying Down A Track to Run On

2. Being a Good MLM Sponsor

3. Working Depth With Your MLM Downline

Today, let’s talk about the first step, i.e.

Step 1 — Laying Down A Track to Run On

Making sure your downline has a “track to run on” means they must first learn about the company:

• facts and information about the management team;

• product features and benefits;

• compensation plan and how you make money;

• enrolling prospects and order processing;

• who your upline is; and

• developing their presentation portfolio.

In addition to the above, having a track to run on involves knowing how to:

• develop effective communication skills, i.e. to speak with people in a way that reduces tension, neutralizes objections, and increases participation;

• use tools (e.g. websites, CDs & DVDs, newspapers, brochures, etc.);

• promote home meetings, regional gatherings and conventions;

• share information with warm and cold market, leads, referrals;

• edify upline leaders; and

• conduct an effective 3 way call.

When you sign up a new distributor, immediately have them make a list of ten prospects. Then, you should send each of those prospects some company information and a short note stating that you are sending the information to them at the request of a mutual friend. If you have an informational website, include the URL in your letter. After the information has gone out, have your new distributors follow up with their prospects and set up a three-way call.

When you do this, you (1) get your new distributors to immediately begin building their organization, (2) get sponsor and distributor working together, and (3) your new distributors will know what to do when they sign up someone, i.e. exactly what you have done for them! This stimulates business and creates tremendous momentum in the downline.

Sounds simple, but many sponsors violate this strategy. If it’s done right, and your new distributors see how easy your success is to duplicate, you will find that them running on that same track, teaching their downline how to get started. You’ll see business builders emerging, and that’s when your business will really take off.

Blaine561 presents: Training the New Network Marketing Distributor: Being a Good MLM Sponsor – Step 2 of 3

In Step 1, we talked about “Laying Down a Track to Run On.” Here, in Step 2, we’ll discuss “Being A Good Sponsor.” While many of the people you recruit into your organization may have had previous experience in network marketing, many will be first timers. Similarly, if you’ve been successful in recruiting people who were involved in other network marketing organizations, you got them because they were disenchanted with their current company. In other words, they weren’t as successful as they would have liked to be.

Wouldn’t that indicate to you that they don’t know the best way to do things? Well, that’s where you come in – helping them lay that track for others to run on. Again, when new distributors know what works, they can proceed with confidence, and confidence is the handmaiden of success. Remember, people are not duplicable, but systems are.

Step 2 — Being a Good Sponsor

Being a good sponsor means showing your new distributors “The Rules:”

Rule No. 1: Treat it Like a Business.

In order to be successful, your new distributors must truly want success, be coachable, and follow through on their commitments. In other words, they need to treat this business like a business.

Rule No. 2: Keep it simple.

If they can follow a simple procedure (see Part 1), they will use the same system with their contacts. If they can see that what you did was simple, they will believe they can do it, too. If you had to really work on them, more or less “bullying” them into the business, your new distributors will not want to duplicate what you did and will not take any action.

Rule No. 3: Determine Their Reasons.

If you know what your new distributor wants from this venture, that is, why they want to succeed, you can understand how to get them over the rough spots and keep them on the road to success. Remember, most people will be tempted to quit with the first setback because they were never clear on what they wanted to achieve in the first place. If their “why” is strong enough, the “how” will be easier to get across.

Rule No. 4: Establish Objectives.

Set specific sponsoring and financial objectives for the first 30, 60, and 90 days. People always perform better when they have specific goals in mind.

Rule No. 5: Introduce Your Upline

Introduce new distributors to their upline, those leaders who are building a successful business and who are earning the type of income they’d like to earn. That way, if you’re not available to help them, they will have names and telephone numbers of others (you should give them at least 3) who they can contact for support. Further, by meeting others who are earning the type of income they’d like to earn, the system becomes more realistic and attainable.

Rule No. 6: Where’s the Tools?

Make sure they know how to get the tools they will need to share the business with others., such as tapes/CDs, brochures, business cards, etc. Every business needs information to disseminate with prospects. This one is no exception. Remember, people are not duplicable, but systems are.

Rule No. 7: Make a Prospect List.

Although everyone who makes a list doesn’t necessarily become a top earner, every top earner has a list. Typically, they’ll start with their Warm Market, because that’s the people they know.

At this point, your new distributor should be ready to go. They have their “reason why” clearly in mind, specific objectives for the next 90 days, their upline’s contact information for plenty of support, the tools to get started, and a list of people to contact.

Having said that, remember Rule No. 8: Let Them Move at Their Own Pace.

Sponsoring a distributor is a process, not a single event. If they don’t want to move as fast as you do, that’s OK. You can’t change human nature. People will only do what they are willing to do. Encourage, yes, but don’t try to force people into something they aren’t willing to do.
